Tlaib Allegedly Belongs to Facebook Group that Glorifies Terrorists

In early November, the House of Representatives formally rebuked Representative Rashida Tlaib from Michigan, a unique figure as the sole Palestinian-American legislator in the federal government. She faced allegations of expressing anti-Semitic comments, adding to the challenges she encountered during that period.

On November 15, Fox News Digital released a significant report claiming that the congresswoman from Michigan is affiliated with a Facebook group supporting Hamas. The group, named Palestinian American Congress, is configured as “secret” on the social media platform, ensuring that only members can view its membership and posted content.

Additionally, the group cannot be found through search on the platform, indicating that individuals can only become members through invitation from an existing member.

As per the report, journalists managed to enter the group and claim that Tlaib has been a member for six years. It is asserted that she was notably engaged in the group during the 2018 congressional campaign.

Members of the group have allegedly shared messages supportive of Hamas in the aftermath of the Israel-Hamas conflict, which has resulted in the death of over 10,000 people. One particular post featured an image of a Hamas fighter and an elderly woman expressing the sentiment that their intention is not to cast Israelis into the sea but rather to have them return to where they originated.

The content of the post echoes the sentiment that led to Tlaib’s Congressional censure. She had previously reiterated the phrase “from the river to the sea,” a slogan commonly used by individuals who question Israel’s right to exist.

Exploration of the group reportedly revealed that some members were sharing pro-Hamas content even before the terrorist attacks. Maher Abdel-qader, the group’s founder, allegedly has a history of anti-Semitism, including questioning the occurrence of the Holocaust, in which millions of Jews lost their lives.
