Miles Bridges of the Charlotte Hornets has been suspended by the NBA.
After chucking his mouth guard at a heckling fan after a defeat to the Atlanta Hawks, the gifted basketball player became viral. He didn’t, however, strike the fan he wanted to.

He smoked an innocent girl in the stands instead. He’s now been informed of his fate.
Bridges was fined $50,000 by the NBA for his exceedingly foolish choice during the defeat to Atlanta, according to a press statement.

According to a statement released by NBA, “Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has been fined $50,000.00 for throwing his mouthpiece into the spectators stands, which resulted in the mouthpiece striking a fan, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations. The incident occured after Bridges received two technical fouls and was ejected in Charlotte’s 132-103 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on April 13 at State Farm Arena.”
Bridges was given the first technical foul “because he was upset about a no-call on one end, followed by a personal foul and goaltend on the other end of the floor, and he aggressively approached the official with a clenched fist,” according to Capers. Bridges then directed profanity toward the official, earning him the second technical foul, which entailed an automatic ejection.
Bridges had to be stopped by teammates from rushing after the refs after being sent out. He then proceeded to the locker room, where he was met with jeers from Hawks supporters. One supporter turned and blasted his mouthpiece into the stands as he pretended to wave farewell to Bridges. It happened to hit a little fan in the face.
Miles Bridges popped that little girl in the head with his mouthpiece & she didn’t even flinch. Boss.
