Hunter Biden’s Business Pal Gets Prison Time

Hunter Biden’s former business partner was sentenced to a year in prison on Monday.

This is because he was involved in a scheme to defraud a Native American community of about $60 million in bond payments.

Devon Archer was sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison by Manhattan Judge Ronnie Abrams, who said the crime was too vile to let him go free without a struggle.

According to Abrams, the harm done to real people is undeniable. He reminded us that the Oglala Sioux tribe, which had been defrauded, is among the poorest in the country.

Archer will be expected to pay more than $15 million in forfeiture on his own behalf, as well as more than $43 million in restitution on behalf of his co-defendants, as part of the settlement.

In court on Monday, attorney Matthew Schwartz noted that the con artist has always maintained his innocence and intends to challenge both his conviction and sentencing.

They made brief remarks to Abrams shortly before Archer’s conviction, stating that he was used by shady businessmen who wanted to use him as a pawn in their scheme.

Archer said the fact that he’d been convicted and will be sentenced to prison on Monday was nothing short of weird, his voice cracking at times.

Biden was unaware of or had no involvement in the fraud plan for which Archer was found guilty on Monday.

Archer was found guilty of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and securities fraud by a jury of peers during a trial in 2018.

If Archer provided any information about Hunter Biden after his arrest in order to get a reduced sentence, there’s a high chance Hunter is still being investigated as you read this.
