GOP Rep Calls For Investigation Into Biden’s Ties To China After Balloon Fiasco

The recent balloon incident rekindled interest in learning more about President Biden’s family’s ties to communist China, in addition to highlighting the scary cowardice of America’s political establishment. As the day and incident progressed, other conservative figures posted about it.

Rep. Mary Miller was one such person (R-IL). In a recent tweet prompted by the balloon scenario, she criticized Biden’s ties to communist China, saying:

“China is exploiting the weakness of Joe Biden with their spy balloon. China paid the Biden family millions, but US national security must not be compromised by Biden family payoffs. The House must investigate why China is confident Biden will not respond to their hostile actions.”

Attached to her tweet was a screenshot from the Washington Post, saying “Inside Hunter Biden’s multimillion-dollar deals with a Chinese energy company”. The screenshot then said “A Washington Post review confirms key details and offers new documentation of Biden family interactions with Chinese executives.”

Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton joined in. He said, “Let’s be direct. Biden compromised by China because of his and Hunter’s corruption dealings. This helps explain why Biden is allowing in plain sight brazen violation of our sovereignty and attack on our national security by Chinese spy balloon. Why has it not been shot down!”

Attached to that was a video of him from September in which he discussed Hunter Biden’s Secret Service-protected trips across the world, including to China and Russia. Here are the tweets:

The uproar caused by the Biden documents discovered at the University of Pennsylvania Biden Center, which received tens of millions of dollars in donations from high-ranking people in communist China, fueled the fire.

Peter Schweizer has recently raised attention to the issue, notably in relation to the Biden family and the money it got from China. In a recent interview, he stated:

“I would focus primarily on China because this is truly frightening — and I don’t say that lightly. We know based on the laptop, the emails, the U.S. Treasury Department suspicious activity report reports that have been released that the Bidens have received some $31 million from Chinese entities. 

“When you look at the businessman that may that happen — that made those deals happen, Steve, all of them have links to the highest levels of Chinese intelligence, a gentleman.”

During an interview with Tucker Carlson, Schweizer also detailed how China has bought off American elites, saying:

“You know, the United States is our rival, even our enemy, instead of going head to head with it, why don’t we just kind of pay off certain elements of the leadership. If we can capture them with sweetheart deals, with other benefits, we can effectively lobotomize the United States by making them unresponsive to our threat.”
