Files connected to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein are scheduled for release in early 2024, following a legal action initiated by trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre. While over 150 identities are anticipated to be disclosed, considerable attention has been drawn to the inclusion of former President Bill Clinton’s name in Epstein’s flight records.
Despite longstanding speculations about Clinton’s reputation for womanizing, predating his widely publicized affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky in the late 1990s, Clinton has consistently disavowed any association with Epstein and condemned the convicted trafficker. In a 2019 statement to Newsweek, Clinton asserted his complete unawareness of any of Epstein’s criminal activities.
He further mentioned that he hadn’t conversed with Epstein in the past decade and had never visited Little St. James, commonly referred to as “Epstein Island” or “Pedophile Island.” Nevertheless, Giuffre, who recently reached a $12 million settlement in a lawsuit with Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom, alleges that she encountered Clinton during her time on Little St. James.
As per ABC News, Clinton has been recognized as “Doe 36” in the documents and is cited more than 50 times, including as a passenger on Epstein’s private jet. Nevertheless, it seems that the unveiled documents will not expose any illicit activities involving the former president. There has been no response from Clinton regarding the situation since 2019.
The released documents will disclose over 150 individuals categorized as associates, victims, or investigators connected to Epstein. However, certain names, such as underage victims who haven’t publicly discussed the case, and an individual mistakenly identified as an associate of Epstein, will be redacted by the court.
Epstein faced arrest in July 2019 on charges of trafficking underage girls but was discovered dead in his cell approximately a month later under questionable circumstances. Despite the official ruling of suicide, skepticism about the established narrative has emerged across the political spectrum, leading to the widespread online popularity of the phrase or meme “Epstein didn’t kill himself.”
