Director Wray Confirms America’s Worst Fears

FBI Director Christopher Wray affirmed to lawmakers that individuals identified as terrorists, who lack legal immigration status, have entered the United States through the southern border with Mexico.

In a hearing with the House Homeland Security Committee, Wray acknowledged that individuals listed on the government’s “Terrorist Watch List” successfully entered the country through the U.S.-Mexico border. He disclosed that the FBI is actively pursuing these illegal alien terrorists currently present in the United States.

Engaging in a conversation with Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX), Wray conveyed on X (Twitter) that the situation is continuously changing in response to a query about individuals matching the Terror Watch List who were detained by Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

He affirmed that the FBI is actively searching for individuals involved in terrorism investigations, recognizing the existence of individuals being pursued by the FBI within the United States.

Wray’s disclosure is consistent with recent information from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which reported encounters with 13 individuals on the Terrorist Watch List who entered the border in October without legal authorization.

This figure surpasses the cumulative number of apprehensions recorded from 2018 to 2020 throughout the term of former President Donald Trump.

Remarkably, an individual without legal immigration status, wanted for terrorism in Senegal, was released into the United States by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under President Biden’s administration after crossing the border. Subsequently, the FBI informed DHS about the alien’s background involving terrorism.

Following that, the person was apprehended near One World Trade Center in New York City and is currently held by the Department of Homeland Security, waiting for deportation.

In the interim, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) has launched a legal challenge against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) during President Biden’s administration, asserting that they have been withholding information about roughly 300 illegal alien terrorists encountered at the border since early 2021.

A recent memorandum from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) underscored the increasing national security apprehension stemming from terrorism along the border, forecasting continued high encounters with migrants in the coming year.

This persisting problem underscores the urgent need for attention to national security, compelling authorities to effectively address and manage the threat posed by terrorists crossing the border.
