President Joe Biden made another humiliating error when a reporter asked him about the revocation of the Title 42 border policy, and the White House was compelled to clean up his mess.
On Thursday, Biden appeared to mix up the topic of Title 42 with the judge’s ruling ending the public transit mask rule.
“Are you thinking about postponing Title 42?” the reporter inquired.
“No. What I’m considering is continuing to hear from my – first of all, there’s going to be an appeal by the Justice Department. Because as a matter of principle we want to be in a position where if in fact it is strongly concluded by the scientists that we need Title 42, that we be able to do that. But there has been no decision on extending Title 42,” Biden answered.
When asked about Title 42, President Biden gave an incoherent answer about mask mandates.

For the good of the country, he needs to stop speaking extemporaneously in public.
Afterwards, the White House produced a statement in Biden’s voice, clarifying his perplexing remarks.
“I want to clarify that, in comments at the conclusion of my remarks this morning, I was referring to the CDC’s mask mandate and there is no Department of Justice action on Title 42,” Biden said in the press release.
The White House has frequently given corrections to Biden’s blunders in public remarks, but it is unusual for the president to write a personal statement to do so.

The blunder is only the latest in a string of blundering remarks by Biden. These tapes have been used by critics to boost the effort to remove Biden from office, citing clauses in Amendment 25 that apply to presidents who are unable to execute their responsibilities.
