First Transgender Army Officer Turns out to Be a Russian Spy

The first transgender officer in the US Army has been charged with trying to provide medical data to the Russians in an effort to support Vladamir Putin’s war in Ukraine.

A grand jury found that transgender Major in the Army Jamie Lee Henry and his wife Anna Gabrielian engaged in conspiracy and improperly shared personally identifiable health information. After the two were taken into custody on Thursday, the indictment was made public.

The indictment claims that Gabrielian and Henry met with the UC at the UC’s hotel room at around 8:10 that night. After the situation in Ukraine started, Henry considered volunteering to join the Russian Army, but Russia sought personnel with combat experience, and he had any. Henry told the UC during the meeting that he was determined to helping Russia. The way I see what is happening in Ukraine right now is that the United States is using Ukrainians as a stand-in for their own animosity toward Russia, Henry said.

The UC was supposedly promised confidential medical records from the US Army and Medical Institution 1 by Henry and Gabrielian in exchange for assistance from the Russian government. Henry also expressed concern about passing a background check for his security clearance during the same meeting, and Gabrielian demanded that if she were put at significant risk of arrest, she wanted her and Henry’s children to “have a nice flight to Turkey to go on vacation because I don’t want to end in jail here with my kids being hostages over my head.”

Even though he didn’t have any combat experience, he even offered to join the Russian Army but was turned down. He and his wife, a physician at John Hopkins University, decided to try to deliver knowledge in the end. Since then, John Hopkins has removed all references to Gabrielian from its website.

Regardless, the pair might spend a lot of time in jail for their scheme, and they should definitely. Ironically, Henry’s status as the first transgender officer in the US Army won’t be something the transgender movement claims credit for anymore, despite the fact that it was first hailed.
