During his Wednesday visit to Israel, President Joe Biden made another humiliating error when discussing the Holocaust.
Before correcting himself, Biden fumbled his remarks and appeared to be applauding the Holocaust.
“Later today, I will once more return to the hallowed ground of Yad Vashem to honor the 6 million Jewish lives that were stolen in a genocide and continue. Which we must do every, every day — continue to bear witness, to keep alive the truth and honor of the Holocaust — horror of the Holocaust — honor those we lost, so that we never, ever forget that lesson, you know, and to continue our shared, unending work to fight the poison of anti-Semitism wherever it raises its ugly head,” Biden said in his speech.
This is Biden’s first trip to the Middle East since assuming office, and it will last two days. A top Israeli official declared that Israel and the United States will cooperate to counter any potential nuclear threat from Iran.
Biden’s most recent error further strengthens charges that his age is hindering his job as president from the right and, to a greater extent, the left.
According to a recent study, most Democrats would prefer that someone Democrat run in Biden’s place if he decided not to seek re-election in 2024.
The president yelled at Biden and lunged toward the reporter when the latter questioned him about the polling at the White House.
“They want me to run!” Biden remarked.
“Read the polls. Read the polls, Jack!” he claimed. “You guys are all the same. That poll showed that 92% of Democrats if I ran would vote for me.”
